Curvaceous Tops the Award Shortlists
Curvaceous
are delighted to announce their recent selection as
finalists in both the IChemE Innovation Awards and the IEE
Innovation in Engineering Awards. As well as these,
Curvaceous was also one of only three finalists from over
250 nominations for The Carbon Trust Innovation Awards 2005.
The IEE
Innovation in Engineering Award for the manufacturing
category will be announced on 14th September. The IChemE
AMEC Award will be presented on September 29th for
innovation and excellence in SME's. Both ceremonies will be
held in Central London.
Curvaceous has been chosen for the success of their new
technological approach to process analysis, control and
optimisation. Environmental innovation was recognised by the
Carbon Trust as Geometric Process Control (GPC) technology
reduces carbon dioxide
emissions from operating process plant by increasing plant
efficiency.
GPC technology uses multi-dimensional
geometry to visualise and model several hundred process,
cost and emissions variables at once.
Curvaceous
is delighted to reach the final of these three prestigious awards
and are looking forward to the awards ceremonies.
The IEE and the IChemE have so far been impressed
with the concept and praticalities of GPC. To understand
